This combination of a soft touch and a sand touch coating together with a high gloss effect appeals to several senses. First of all, a water-based high gloss coating was applied. This was followed by the spot application of a UV soft touch coating over the green fields. To give the print motif a third layer, a UV sand touch coating was added to the rocks.
This is a beautiful aerial view of the Burren hills from the Ballyvaughan area, a coastal village near the northern border of County Clare, Ireland. The Burren means "stony place". The region seems to live up to this name, as light grey limestone slabs line up like a mosaic for kilometers. In the appropriate season, wild flowers illuminate the barren landscape in a colorful splendor.
